You have chosen to meet with Erin Nisonger, MFTA, NCC. Erin earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology at Brigham Young University and her master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy through Capella University. Erin received her Marriage and Family Therapy Associate (MFTA) licensure in 2020 and her board certification as a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) in 2021. She grew up in the Air Force family living across the United States and in Panama. She is married with three children.
Because Erin is not yet a fully licensed clinician, we cannot bill insurance for her services. Clients will be billed at a reduced rate.
Erin works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families experiencing a variety of challenges with the intent to increase client wellness and help clients reach their personal goals. She has experience in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, parenting, co-parenting, couples' conflicts and intimacy issues, substance abuse, premarital counseling, and life changes adjustment. Erin is trained in EMDR, multi-cultural counseling, and teletherapy. Her approach to counseling is person-centered, solution-focused, and evidence-based.
